Evidence Requests

Evidence requests (also called PBC — Provided By Client) let you request specific documents from team members or external parties during an audit.

Key Elements

  • Create Request — Specify what evidence is needed, who should provide it, and the due date.
  • Request list — Shows all open requests with status, assignee, priority, and deadline.
  • Status tracking — Requests move through: Open, In Progress, Submitted, Accepted, Rejected.

How to Request Evidence

  1. Click Create Request.
  2. Fill in the control ID, framework, title, and description of what's needed.
  3. Assign an owner email and set a due date.
  4. The assignee will see this in their task list.
